Strategic Partnership to Build Fakeeh Care Group Hospital in Masar Destination
Strategic partnership with investments amounting to one billion Riyals
Umm Al-Qura Development and Construction Company, owner, and developer of Masar Destination in Makkah, signed a strategic partnership agreement with Fakeeh Medical Group to establish the latest hospital in the Holy Capital with investments amounting to one billion Riyals. The hospital is housed in Masar Destination, the most inspiring investment and urban destination for the next 100 years.
The signing ceremony took place between the CEO of Umm Al-Qura Development and Construction Company, Mr. Yasser Abuateek, and Dr. Mazen Soliman Fakeeh, CEO of Fakeeh Care Group in the presence of H.E Dr. Tawfig AlRabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah and Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and the Holy Sites, and several authority figures. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Abdullah Saleh Kamel, chairman of Umm Al-Qura Development and Construction Company and a respected group of businessmen.
Masar Destination will house key residential towers, international hotels, government service departments, and many integrated cultural, recreational, social, and commercial facilities. The latest announcement, Fakeeh Hospital, will add a novel dimension to health care for visitors and residents of Makkah alike.
Fakeeh hospital, located on the western side of Masar Destination, approximately 70 kilometres away from Jeddah, and only 100 meters far from the Haramain train station is anticipated to begin its function in 2027 and will comprise of 200 beds, 60 outpatient clinics, 20 emergency units, and 6 operation rooms, in addition to providing comprehensive health care services, in the specialties of obstetrics and gynaecology, intensive care, dialysis, physiotherapy, radiology, laboratory, in addition to the cancer treatment centre.
Dr. Mazen Fakeeh, for his part, stated that the signed partnership agreement is a vital strategic partnership that will help raise the level of health services in Makkah and improve the quality of life, and that Fakeeh Care Group will work to attract the latest medical technologies and the best expertise to deliver a unique model and an added value to the medical services provided in Makkah city.
