Biography of Mr. Abdullah Saleh Kamel

Mr. Abdullah bin Saleh Kamel holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Umm Al-Qura Company for Development and Construction. He is a non-executive member, with more than thirty years of experience in business, investment, banking, and industrial sectors.  

Mr.Kamel chairs the board of directors of a group of companies, such as Okaz Corporation for Press and Publications, Al Baraka Banking Group in the Kingdom of Bahrain, the General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions, the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture. He also holds other board memberships such as Dallah Al Baraka Holding Company, Emaar the Economic City and chairman of the Board of Directors of the Makkah Chamber of Commerce.

He holds a degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, USA.
